The authoritative international alliance Global Education Leaders` Partnership (GELP), which influences the development of school education abroad, for the first time chose Russia as a meeting point for leaders and experts of the world educational community. The official operator of GELP is the Global Venture Alliance.
The GELP Moscow 2017 International Summit will be held in the capital from November 1st to 3rd, and will be a platform for discussion of educational standards, the search for ideas, projects and the formation of a global agenda for the development of a new system for teaching students.
Leaders of Russian education together with leading foreign experts will take part in the International Summit of GELP. The experience of Russia is of interest, since the education system of our country pays special attention to the formation of meta-subject skills among students. The summit is devoted to the topic "Education for a complex world: why, what and how to teach in the 21st century", which was proposed by the Russian side and approved by foreign colleagues.
The co-organizers of the summit are Sberbank Charity Fund "Contribution to the Future" and "Rybakov Fund". Support in the organization is provided by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Global Education Futures (GEF) association created in Russia.
The program of the summit attracts attention with a unique composition of speakers, among them the leading Russian scientists in the field of education, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets, the chairman of the Council of the Center for Strategic Research Alexey Kudrin, the aides of the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov and Andrei Fursenko, the General Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva, Director of the "Young Professionals" of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Dmitry Peskov.
The summit will bring together representatives of higher education institutions, research institutes, specialists in the field of information technologies, librarianship, leaders of projects for the development of creative abilities, philanthropists, as well as representatives of economic organizations and entrepreneurs - initiators of social and educational projects.
The event will show the international community the achievements of the educational system of Russia - it will present the best domestic innovations in the field of school and additional education. In turn, our country will be able to draw on advanced world practices for the further development of the education sector.
Along with Russian experts, foreign experts from many countries will perform at the summit: Argentina, Brazil, Finland, Ireland, Spain, Canada, South Korea, India, New Zealand and others, including GELP co-founders:

· Sandra Miligan, who created the distance learning course of the MEP, thanks to which already more than 30 thousand teachers have improved their qualifications (Australia)

In 2016, the Russian Internet market for the first time will exceed 1 trillion rubles. Despite the difficult economic situation in the country, the on-line trade market is rapidly developing, taking an appreciable part of the buyers from off-line. E-commerce in Russia has a huge potential, as the growth rate of this industry is comparable to global, but the share that is occupied by on-line retail in the total volume of Russian retail is negligible, now it does not exceed 3%. This sphere is rapidly changing, new threats are emerging, new opportunities are emerging. According to forecasts, in the next few years the share of electronic commerce in Russia will increase to 20%.
